Aviation Asset Disposal

The disposal of an aircraft or engine can be a complex and costly process. Many millions of dollars of value can be conserved if the exit is planned professionally and executed well.

If the asset is currently owned Aviation Asset Management (AAM) can assist with marketing of the asset.

If the aircraft or engine is leased, once the aircraft is nearing the end of its contracted life with an operator AAM can assist by preparing a scope of work to ensure the asset meets end of lease conditions at a minimum cost, engage an appropriate MRO to perform the end of lease maintenance.

AAM can provide Project Managers to oversee the end of lease return process and provide teams of Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to inspect the aircraft prior to lease end at the appointed MRO facility.
AAM can also provide technical experts to audit the aircraft's maintenance records to ensure they meet contracted End of Lease requirements.

Asset Disposal

At the end of an aircraft's or engine's useful economic life AAM staff can assist with the cost effective disposal of that capital asset. In particular AAM staff can manage on behalf of the operator or owner:

  • Aircraft lease returns
  • Aircraft sale support
  • Engine sale support
