The Challenge  
To replace aging wide bodied and single aisle aircraft that operate on short haul sectors with a more network appropriate, customer-worthy, cost effective fleet of aircraft.  
The Programme  
A single aisle fleet replacement project entailing RFP, evaluation, negotiation and contract.  
The Outcome  
B767s and B737-300s were replaced with an A320 fleet purchased at a price that gave both superior Cash Operating Costs and Direct Operating Costs.
